Ted M. Sherrod is a Principal Environmental Engineer with AECOM with key responsibilities involving management of construction stormwater and post construction stormwater programs, design of stormwater control measures and training materials, and development of stormwater management plans for private and public sector clients. Ted retired with 30 years of service with the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) Roadside Environmental Unit and as a Transportation Engineering Manager for the Field Operations Section in Raleigh. Ted was tasked with implementing the Department’s Erosion and Sedimentation/Stormwater (E&SC/SW) program for linear and vertical construction. His roles involved design and field implementation of E&SC/SW and supervising 15 field engineers and technicians. Ted also oversaw the development of a NCDOT E&SC/SW training and certification program for now over 10,000 engineers, consultants, contractors, and transportation technicians involving inspection, site management, and design.
