Enhance Your Knowledge

 

IECA is your source for industry education offering training from online learning, regional events and conferences, on location training and IECA Annual Conference. IECA's peer reviewed education program is one of the best in the industry, providing something for everyone with courses taught by industry experts for industry professionals. IECA offers four educational tracks: erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, wetland, stream bank, and shoreline restoration and MS4 management. 

IECA has two certification partners EnviroCert International, Inc. (CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, CPSM, CPISM) and CISEC, Inc. (CISEC). IECA offers the professional development credit required to apply, re-certify and keep up to date with your industry certifications. 

IECA has met the standards and requirements of the Registered Continuing Education Program to delivery of professional education activities for engineers, surveyors, and related A/E/C industry professionals. A selection of online courses, webinars and in person training are included in this program.

 

IECA eHub

IECA eHub houses all IECA Online Education including: Live Webinars, Recorded Webinars, Online Courses and the IECA Resource Library, filled with white papers, state regulations and case studies. After completion of any course eligible for continuing education credit, you may print off a certificate.

IECA on Location

Learn from industry experts! IECA on Location offers formal on-site training from faculty instructors. IECA faculty members will travel to your business to provide hands-on, classroom training. IECA on Location courses can be private or public to our organization. If your training is public, we will post it on our website and inform the local IECA chapter, as well as post it on our calendar of events. If the training is private, we will keep your training a private matter.

IECA offers a variety of events throughout the year including Regional Events and Conferences across the USA/Canada and the IECA Annual Conference. 

RCEP

The Registered Continuing Education Providers (RCEP) Program is a nationwide registry of continuing education providers that have demonstrated adherence to high‐quality, effective practices in the development and delivery of professional education activities for engineers, surveyors, and related A/E/C industry professionals. More information on RCEP can be found at rcep.net. The International Erosion Control Association has met the standards and requirements of the Registered Continuing Education Program. Credit earned on completion of an IECA program that qualifies for RCEP will be reported to RCEP. Certificates of completion will be issued to all participants.

IECA Education Tracks

The International Erosion Control Association offers four educational tracks to help individuals focus on industry-specific categories. These tracks are used in all educational offerings. IECA's Educational Tracks Committee is comprised of IECA members who have expertise in certain areas of erosion, sediment control and stormwater management. Each Educational Track aims to enhance the quality of IECA's educational offerings and to assist members in finding answers to their technical questions.

Throughout the year IECA offers industry experts a range of opportunities to present from online education to regional events and the Annual International Conference there is always something going on.

Claim Credit

IECA has launched a new education certificate portal to give you access to the education you’ve taken through IECA. Now, you can now download your certificates for IECA events, print your IECA transcript, search for future IECA events and submit your own credit for courses you have taken outside of IECA. To access select your profile, and click on the “claim credit” tab.

IECA is the foremost organization for those involved in or concerned about soil erosion control. Membership (in IECA) tells others you take erosion control seriously and you want to help make a difference.
